The Story
Vibeka grew up in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by the foothills that she still calls home.
Her love of music began early, in the back seat during road trips and while tagging along to any and all concerts her father invited her to. That's when she started dreaming about the stage. Now watching powerhouse women such as Gracie Abrams and Kacey Musgraves, that dream has grown into a goal of her own.
Vibeka taught herself guitar and began writing songs from her angsty experiences and feelings that were way too deep. Some things haven't changed and she has turned her habit of oversharing into preforming. She still writes from that same vulnerable headspace while listening to the John Michael Montgomery songs that formed her view of the world.
Her music exists somewhere between indie pop and folk, shaped by growing up, falling in and out of love, and rediscovering herself over and over again.
Travel has become an important part of both her life and her writing. She calls Boise home, but many of her stories begin somewhere on the road.
